Russia Sends Third Batch of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions

In response to the escalating tensions in the Middle East, Russia has dispatched its third batch of humanitarian aid to the residents of Gaza, as confirmed by the Russian Emergencies Ministry. Two special planes, specifically the Emergencies Ministry's Il-76s, have been deployed to transport 60 tons of essential humanitarian supplies to the Gaza Strip via the international airport of Grozny, bound for the Arab Republic of Egypt. The aid delivery follows a series of events in the region, triggered by a surprise attack by militants from the radical Palestinian movement, Hamas, on Israeli territory from the Gaza Strip. Hamas cited its attack as a response to perceived aggressive actions by Israeli authorities against the Al-Aqsa Mosque in the Old City of Jerusalem. In retaliation, Israel imposed a complete blockade on the Gaza Strip and initiated military operations in Gaza, as well as in certain areas of Lebanon and Syria. Additionally, clashes have been reported in the West Bank. The provision of humanitarian aid from Russia reflects the international community's concern for the well-being of Gaza's residents amid the ongoing crisis. As tensions remain high in the Middle East, the situation is being closely monitored, with efforts made to address the humanitarian needs of those affected by the conflict.
